Each year, our school gathers for a special assembly to remember September 11, 2001, and to honor those impacted. During the assembly, our eighth-grade students led in teaching about the events of 9/11 and why it is important to pause and remember.
Following the assembly, every student (K–8) and staff member places flags on the front lawn—one for each life lost on 9/11. This powerful visual tribute serves as a reminder of the lives lost, the bravery of first responders, and the importance of unity in our community and our country.
