Technology Integration Plan |

|
Our
2010-2013 Technology Integration Plan was submitted online February 27,
2010 at the Illinois Interactive Report Card (iirc) site. Our
2010-2013 Technology Integration Plan was approved by the peer
review panel on March 11th and later that day it received final approval
by the Illinois School Board of Education.
Local Education Agencies (LEA) requires an approved Technology
Integration Plan in order to apply for e-Rate reimbursement, NCLB Title
II Part D (EETT) funding and other state or federal funding
opportunities that give support to educational technology.

everyone who participated in the various surveys to make this a data
driven plan. |

Tech Lab Days |

|
Waltham’s computer
labs
have
been opened
to
its
community
at large
on designated
Saturdays
the
last eight years
and
has
been
supervised by
the
Technology Coordinator,
Ms.
Balzarini.
We are continuing this tradition once again this year. Tech Lab
Days are from
10:00 a.m. to 12 noon.

The purpose of Tech
Lab Days is to provide access to and help with software applications.
All aged-learners, pre-school through senior citizens, are invited to
attend. Learners in 6th
Grade and under are to be accompanied by an adult. |

Recycling |
| |
|
Waltham
is helping to save its environment and at the same time provide for some
of our needs by recycling empty ink and toner cartridges, copier toner
cartridges, and old cell phones. Please help by sending your empties or
oldies from home or work to either of the district’s school buildings. |
